【愛はどこに？ ブラック・アイド・ピーズ・ライヴ】
暑。
武道館のいわゆるアリーナは、ブロック指定の立ち見で、巨大ダンスフロアーと化していた。ウィル・アイ・アム、アップル・ダップ、タブー、そして、紅一点ファギーの4人組ブラック・アイド・ピーズのライヴ。ヒップホップだが、音楽的要素が強くここ2年ほどで爆発的人気を獲得している。やはり前作（通算3作目）『エレファンク』からの「ホエア・イズ・ラヴ」の大ヒットが大きかった。
ファギーが可愛くセクシーで、ひじょうに存在感をアピール。片手で前方に回転したのには驚いた。他にメンバーたちは爆転までしていた。かと思えばウィル・アイ・アムのとぼけた表情もおもしろい。
例えば80年代の作品をサンプリングすることによってベーシックな音楽的要素が強まるので、やはり聴きやすく、しかものりも抜群。ステージは熱く、観客席は暑かった。
舞台正面にあったモンキーの平面イラストは、いつのまにか巨大な立体のモンキーになって、左右前後に動いていた。
後半「ホエア・イズ・ラヴ」では、観客に携帯電話のライトをつけさせ、それを持って腕を振らせた。暗闇の観客席に揺れ動く無数の光りは、まるで星の瞬きのようだった。そして、曲が終わったところで、メンバーは指でハートマークを作った。まさに、武道館に愛が溢れた瞬間だった。
