【84th Oscar Predictions 2012】
オスカー。
グラミーに続くアメリカエンタテインメント業界最大のお祭り、アカデミー賞が2012年2月26日（日）ハリウッド・ハイランド・センターで発表される。今年は第84回、24部門。日本時間27日（月）午前10時から有料衛星放送局ワウワウWOWOWで生中継される。司会はオスカーでの9回目の司会となるビリー・クリスタル。
今年はモノクロのほぼサイレント映画『アーティスト(The Artist)』の人気が圧倒的。フランス映画として初のアカデミー賞作品賞のノミネート。もっともノミネートされているのはマーティン・スコセッシが初めててがける3D映画『ヒューゴの不思議な発明(Hugo)』で11部門。『アーティスト』が10部門。『マネーボールMoneyball』『戦火の馬War Horse』が6部門。
『アーティスト』は最低6部門うまくいけば8部門まで伸ばし、このオスカーの夜、最大の話題になるだろうとソウル・サーチャーは予想する。
